Lancaster-Modesto Game “Winded” Out
Game will be made up in a double header Wednesday

(LANCASTER, CA) – The Lancaster JetHawks game scheduled for Tuesday night against Modesto has been postponed due to high winds in the Antelope Valley. With sustained winds of 40 MPH and gusts of over 50 MPH expected to continue well into the evening, conditions were deemed unsafe for baseball. The game will be made up Wednesday as part of a double-header beginning at 6:00 PM.

Tickets for Tuesday’s game can be used for any other JetHawks game during the regular season, based upon availability. Tickets for Wednesday’s game will be valid for both games of the double header, with both games seven inning affairs. The second game will begin after a ½-hour break upon the conclusion of the first game.

The double-header will be a part of the first Weight Loss Wednesday at Clear Channel Stadium. Fans will be allowed to “walk off” some calories by strolling around the warning track from 5 PM until 5:45. Special health conscious menu items will also be available.
