Storm Finish Sweep, Beat JetHawks 12-3
Lancaster has lost nine straight

(LAKE ELSINORE, CA) – The Storm scored early and often as they completed a sweep of the JetHawks, winning 12-3 Saturday night in the final of a four game series. Lake Elsinore chased Lancaster starter Brad Dydalewicz in the third inning after scoring off the JetHawks lefty nine times. The JetHawks have been swept in their last two road trips and have lost nine consecutive games overall.

Control problems for Brad Dydalewicz set up some big early hits for the Storm. A pair of first inning walks preceded a three-run homer by Cody Decker that gave Lake Elsinore an early lead. Another walk in the second was followed by a homer from Drew Cumberland, then a walk and a hit batter opened the gates for a five run inning by the Storm in the third, driving Dydalewicz out of the game with the JetHawks down 10-0.

The JetHawks chipped away in the fourth inning, using a walk of their own. Freddy Parejo drew a base on balls to start the inning. David Flores and Mark Ori singled, with Ori driving in Parejo. Federico Hernandez added single to load the bases, and Brandon Barnes cashed in with the fourth single of the inning, bring home Flores.

The JetHawks return home Sunday evening to open a three-game series against Inland Empire at Clear Channel Stadium. Shane Wolf (3-2) takes the mound for the JetHawks against Josh Walter (0-0) of the 66ers. The game begins at 5:00 PM and will be broadcast live on CSN @ JetHawks.com and NewsTalk 1380 AM with the JetHawks Pre-Game Show beginning at 4:45.

It will be a Big League Dreams Sunday at the Hangar. Fans can play catch on the field when the gates open at 4 PM and kids can run the bases after the game. The JetHawks will also be hosting a Family Sleepover. A ticket package is available that includes the chance to camp on the outfield grass Sunday night. A movie will be played on the video board and snacks are included.
