Reddick & Jimenez also named to league post-season all star team
(LANCASTER, CA) – The California League announced its 2008 post-season All-Stars and Awards today and the JetHawks captured three spots on the distinguished list, including Manager of the Year, which Chad Epperson won for the second straight season. OF Josh Reddick and 3B Jorge Jimenez also were named as post-season all stars. The voting is done by league managers, general managers, and broadcasters, as well as selected members of local media.

The Lancaster JetHawks, Class A Affiliate of the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox, have partnered with several local companies to provide a commemorative playoff t-shirt to the first 1,000 fans who attend home playoff games on September 6 & 7. The JetHawks are guaranteed to host these two games after clinching the California League South Division first half title last month.
